Sue and Jeff Kalowski

Sue and Jeff Kalowski live in Newton, MA and became new members in the club just this past summer of 2008. They have two children, Sarah and Adam. Sarah is currently a freshman in the business program at Northeastern University and Adam is a sophomore at Newton South High School.

Jeff grew up sailing at summer camp in Rhode Island and he had always dreamt of one day owning a sailboat. Shortly after Jeff and Sue were married he convinced Sue to purchase their first cruising sailboat. They love to sail and are very familiar with the local cruising grounds as they spent five years sailing out of Waquoit Bay in the late 80’s. After obtaining a mooring in 2006 they returned to Waquoit on their Sabre 30 and appropriately named it Revenio, which means “to return” in Latin.

Sudie and Bill Fay and Family

We love the atmosphere at WBYC. Very casual and inclusive and the families that we have met over the past few years have been delightful. My children now look forward to spending their summers on Cape Cod and Bill and I feel that they have made life long friendships as they learn how to sail out in our Bay!

My husband and I have happily attended a few adult club functions and have really enjoyed the people we have met. Many are down to earth, regular folks with a no fuss attitude that we enjoy! I grew up around a very high end yacht club and WBYC is a breath of fresh air!
